Education Without Barriers (EWB) is an initiative of the International Pain Centre, a leading multidisciplinary pain management and training facility based in New Delhi. Founded by Dr. Amod Manocha (FFPMRCA (UK), FRCA (UK), PG Diploma MSK US (UK), PG D Rheumatology, EDRA, CCEPC), EWB represents a forward-thinking approach to pain education — bringing together science, mentorship, and clinical excellence under one roof.
We believe that quality pain care begins with quality education. EWB was born from a simple but powerful idea — to remove the traditional boundaries that limit learning in pain medicine. Whether those barriers are of specialty, geography, access, or hierarchy, our mission is to create an open, collaborative ecosystem where anyone genuinely interested in understanding pain — doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists, or other health care professionals — can learn, grow, and contribute.
The vision for EWB took shape during Dr. Manocha’s own journey through postgraduate training in musculoskeletal ultrasound at the University of East London. Struggling to find suitable mentorship, he experienced firsthand how access to training opportunities can shape or limit professional growth. That experience became the foundation of Education Without Barriers — a platform designed to ensure that no committed learner has to face such limitations again.
